Digital Demos

Yes, you will need a coupon clearing house in order to use Digital Demos in-store sampling because the mechanism of trial requires a free product voucher.

Yes, we can give recommendations, but please check with the coupon clearing house for their latest quotes.

Unfortunately, we are unable to sample alcohol, CBD, and cannabis products.

Yes, you can still sample direct-to-consumer with Digital Demos. However, depending on your shipping costs, a smaller trial size sample might be better for consumers to try a free sample in exchange for their feedback and review.

You can book a call to discuss the best options for your business with a CPG Growth Strategist. We can drive trial at retail stores for reviews and insights, or send people to collect a free product through your e-commerce store (if you have one). If always-on sampling at high volumes is your goal, investing in sample packs might be a good option for you to consider.

Our Digital Demos campaigns require a minimum of 1500 sampling activations. Our pricing scales with volume and we can discuss the different options based on what you’re looking to accomplish.

The Digital Demos sampling program does not cover the cost of your product samples. For in-store sampling, you will need to cover the MSRP price of your product. For direct-to-consumer or at-home sampling, it will be the cost of your product sample.

Currently, Digital Demos only works with physical print coupon vouchers. You’ll need to design the vouchers and our team will print, package, and ship them to the Social Nature community.

Setting up a Digital Demos campaign is simple. You will need to do only three things:
1. Sign up with a coupon clearing house.
2. Design the artwork for the coupon voucher and brand card.
3. Submit your digital assets for your Social Nature virtual booth.

All Digital Demos sampling programs include reviews and email opt-ins.

Once you sign a contract, it takes 6 weeks to see shoppers in-store.

Through Digital Demos in-store sampling, you get to send targeted shoppers to the shelf to pick up your product and ring them through the till with a free product voucher. Once shoppers try your product, you’ll get their pre/post trial insights, product reviews, and email opt-ins. You’ll also get a three month post-trial survey where we follow up with shoppers three months post-campaign to survey them on their repurchasing habits.

60-70% of Social Nature community members will share their feedback once they try your product. Our engaged community strongly resonates with better-for-you brands and they love giving their reviews and feedback!

A digital demo is the alternative to in-store demos with better targeting and feedback collection. Social Nature matches your product and audience targeting with shoppers on our platform. Members who are interested in your product will apply to try it. If a member qualifies, they receive a free product voucher to redeem in-store. In exchange, they provide you with their feedback, product rating and review, and email opt-in so you can retarget them on your own channels.

Products redeemed through Digital Demos are rung through store registers and may qualify as a velocity turn.

Digital Demos can be used by all CPG brands! There are different use cases depending on whether you’re at the Early Stage, High Growth, or Established Brand stage.

Digital Demos are available for brands with distribution in brick-and-mortar accounts that accept manufacturer’s coupons. We map your distribution to our community of shoppers around your key accounts to determine the volume of sampling available. We typically look for brands with 200+ stores and up and can support key regions of Whole Foods Markets as well.

Retail Support

Typically a minimum of 200 stores that accept manufacturer’s coupons (ex: Fresh Thyme, Central Market, Sprouts, Whole Foods, key region of a conventional banner etc.).

Yes. Now is a great time to start exploring your options. Our program takes approximately 6 weeks from sign off to the start of in-store traction. Retail buyers love to hear about your shopper marketing plans for ensuring new listings are a success.

Not at all. This is a great time to speak to a CPG Growth Strategist. Six weeks is the lead time to send Social Nature shoppers in-store. However, for best practice, we recommend your products are on the shelf for at least 1 month before activating Digital Demos.

In the US, we have strong retail shopping communities around Whole Foods Markets key regions, Sprouts, Kroger, Publix, Walmart, Target, and also service regional chains like HEB, Wegmans, Natural Grocers and Central Market.

In Canada, the key accounts we support include Loblaws, Shoppers Drug Mart, London Drugs, Save-On Foods, Whole Foods, Walmart and Metro.

We can also support some smaller independents if they can accept manufacturers coupons and there is enough distribution in a key region.
